The après ski action mainly takes place in Arinsal which basically boasts of holiday makers who are looking for a nice bar or restaurant during the season. Bars such as the El Cau, the Darby O Grills, the Surf Bar, the Rocky Mountain Bar or the Red X should not be missed when you are looking for a lively night out, surrounded by friendly people. In Pal Arinsal you will find two snow gardens, ski schools and nurseries along with first aid centres, shops with ski and snowboard equipment for hire and shopping facilities that offer duty free goods. Cafeterias and restaurants can also be found in the resort and on the slopes. The latter are often themed and serve regional as well as international cuisine. Everything from French, English, typical Spanish and Mexican food is offered and therefore caters for the tastes of all holiday makers.  The earlier mentioned nursery schools are available for children between 1 and 8 years. The kindergarten is located near the beginners slopes and is accepting kids between the ages of 1 and 4. Please note that children are not being fed here and need to be able to walk. The snow park is available for older children (between 4 and 8) and is located within a separated area where qualified staff keep the youngsters entertained and happy. Spa Centres are located nearby and can often be found within the hotels. To get pampered and relax after a days skiing is often the best thing to do to get rid of sore muscles. One can also go for a swim in the indoor pools or warm up in the sauna. Those who like to skip one day could visit nearby towns and discover the area. |
